Need Help with Auto Repairs?
How Does This Work?
We hope we can answer your question with the FAQs below. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any additional questions you may have.
Do I need to provide proof I am the owner of the vehicle?
Yes. Qualifying for the Musser Auto Assistance Fund requires emergency situation information and proof of ownership. Vehicle must be registered in applicant's name. Applicant must provide proof of ownership.
Can I apply for more than one repair assist through the program?
Yes. We realize that emergency auto-related repair situations are not an isolated incident, especially in older vehicles. We consider each application on it's individual merits.
Will I be helping with the auto repair?
No. Repairs will be completed through Musser Automotive's ASE certified mechanics.
How long does it take to find out if an application is approved or denied?
Most decisions are determined based on need/urgency. We will strive to have a decision within 72 hours or less. If an emergency situation requires a response sooner, please complete the contact form on this website and let us know the circumstances.
Is the Musser Auto Assistance Fund only for people who fall below the poverty line?
No. Many people are one paycheck away from serious financial hardship. We carefully review and verify each applicant's particular situation.
How long will repair(s) take?
Every auto repair is a priority at Musser Automotive. Eligibility for the Musser Auto Assistance Fund DOES NOT mean you will wait longer than any other customer. Every individual is respected and valued!
Will I have to pay anything?
Possibly. If you have the financially ability to participate in a portion of the repair(s), we will notify you in advance of any repair work.
Is there a way I can thank Musser Auto Assistance Fund donors?
Yes. If you had repairs through the Fund and would like to thank our donors, please send a letter to us either via email or USPS (1343 Old Louisville Road, Bowling Green, KY 42101).
